Anne Seneviratne is a former Her Majesty’s Inspector (HMI). She is a qualified English teacher and has taught across the full secondary range. Anne has a range of senior leadership experience in secondary schools as head of sixth form, assistant principal and vice principal. Prior to working for Ofsted, she was an academy principal. During her time as an HMI she inspected a range of provisions including primary, secondary, independent schools and ITE partnerships. Anne was a member of the Ofsted quality assurance team and the national training team. She wrote Key Stage 3: the wasted years? and was involved in the curriculum research programme that informed the Education Inspection Framework.
