This year, our INSET day and OAT Annual Leadership Conference is focused on great teaching. As a member support staff, you are not directly involved in the teaching of children, but without you, great teaching simply isn’t possible.

This video provides a high-level overview of what we think great teaching looks like at OAT, and how you can support this in your role.

After lunch, you will have dedicated time to reflect on what you have heard and to consider what great teaching looks like in your context.

School leaders have been directed to use the time after lunch as they see fit, and so this time will look different in every OAT academy.

Some schools may also opt to complete any outstanding mandatory training via Iam Compliant.
